As the name suggests, Sunbrella offers excellent protection from the sun. In some tests, it has been shown to provide UV protection up to a staggering 98%. Sunbrella covers are woven, usually from acrylic fibers. This makes them breathable and helps to prevent the build up of heat and condensation which would otherwise have devastating effects. They also have a high level of water resistance. Although not completely waterproof, they do have a water repellent coating that helps to keep out the worst of the weather.
